AICA al Summit WSIS di Tunisi

Si è svolto dal 16 al 18 Novembre il Summit Mondiale sulla Società dell'Informazione (WSIS), promosso dall'Assemblea Generale dell'ONU in Tunisia.

AICA è stata invitata a partecipare, ospite presso il Padiglione Italia dell'"Italy@ICT 4 ALL EXHIBITION", che si svolto in parallelo al Summit e dove ha presentato una relazione il giorno 18 Novembre dal titolo:

ECDL in Italy: narrowing the digital divide and increasing productivity 

Abstract:

The presentation will outline the level of diffusion of ECDL, the European Computer Driving Licence, in Italy both in the social and working enviroments. Specific focus will be dedicated to all national programs including ECDL as a mean for digital literacy, results of its diffusion in the working population and the ECDL program global contribution to business development and revenues in the ICT Education & Training and Publishing Sectors. An analysis on cost and productivity improvements that a proper IT basic training can have on working costs will close the presentation.
